Dr. Aditya D. Mohite, Dr. Satishchandra Ogale, Dr. Mukherjee, and Dr. Chakraborty have published a collaborative work on the synthesis of a novel stable organic-inorganic perovskitoid material (a perovskite like hybrid-halide structure) using zwitterion cysteamine linker and demonstrated crystal-crystal transformation to Ruddlesden-Popper phase.
They also demonstrate the application of the perovskitoid yellow phase by using it in a self powered photodetector and for selective detection of Ni ions via On-Off-On photoluminescence (PL).
