Isaac Metcalf is one of the 41 recipients of the prestigious Hertz Fellowship 2020 from the country and the only one from Rice University. Isaac completed his undergraduate from MIT with a dual degree in physics and material sciences. He will join the MPEM (Material Physics for Energy Management) group in the fall semester 2020 to pursue his Ph.D. in material sciences.
